Sc= Single crochet
St= Stitch
ch - chain
Inc= Increase (2 stitches in one)
Dec= Decrease (2 Stitches together - Front legs only)

Making the Carrot
R1 - Make a magic ring and place in it 6 sc (leave a long enough tail to pull the little dimple into your carrot at the end)
R2 - 2 sc, in each st - 12 st total
R3 - 1 sc, 1Inc - 18 St total
R4 - 2 sc, 1 inc (offset the first 2sc) 24 st total
R5 - R7 - 24
R8 - 4 sc Dec - 20 st total
R9 - R11 - 20 Sc
Add the face - eyes between R6 and R7 with 3 st in between. Mouth in outer 2 st and pulled down to the st in the middle of the round below.
R12 - 3sc, dec - 16 st total
R13 - R15 - 16 sc
Start stuffing your carrot! Add enough stuffing to fill the head and down to about 2 rows before the row you're on.
R16 - 2 sc, dec - 12 st total
R17 - R19 - 12sc
Finish stuffing your carrot.
R20 - dec all the way around - 6st total
Sew the bottom of the carrot shut - use the long tail to pull the small dimple into the top of your carrot and sew in and secure.

Making the hair
Ch 12
Working into the first st - 2 sc
work 2 sc into the remaining 11 st and leave a small tail.
Repeat as many times as required
Attach the hair by sewing in one strand, then tying it off to the other and weave both ends in.
